Blue Earth Ecological Consultants, Inc. is a small, woman-owned consulting firm established in 1998 and based in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Blue Earth's mission is to promote conservation of natural resources through comprehensive planning, efficient project management, and application of sound science. Early identification of important social and natural resource issues is a key element of our approach to planning.

Our knowledge of the natural resources of the Southwest, environmental laws and regulations, and working relationships with other environmental professionals in the government and private sector enables us to provide high-quality services in an efficient, cost-effective manner.

We provide a wide range of ecological and environmental planning services to a variety of clients including federal and state agencies, private and non-profit organizations, utility companies, private landowners, engineering firms, and local governments.

Restoration of Lea Lake Marsh
Blue Earth recently completed a Detailed Project Report and Environmental Assessment for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for restoration of Lea Lake marsh, a 43-acre wetland, at Bottomless Lakes State Park, Chaves County, New Mexico.

Natural Resource Management Plan for Mesilla Valley Bosque State Park
Blue Earth is developing a natural resource management plan for Mesilla Valley Bosque State Park for the New Mexico State Parks Division. The park is located along the Rio Grande near Mesilla in Dona Ana County, New Mexico.
